I have came to understand in moments of weakness and in moments of questing God that trusting in God is not dependent upon circumstances and reminded that the greatness of God can never be understood through the lens of human faulty.  God is always faithful and good whether we understand what is happening in our lives or not. Where is our trust in God when we are in the midst of life and living and everything falls completely apart, do we walk by faith or by sight? Do we trust or doubt God? Do we instantly reason and question? Reasoning, questioning and doubt are human frailties, and unfortunately, they are not faith or trust in God! Tests and trials remind us that apart from God we can do nothing and that we must rely on something greater than ourselves.

We must say without a doubt, “I don’t understand what’s going on, but God I trust YOU.” It is that simple, even more, I have discovered when the struggle is the hardest is when the need to trust is the strongest. That’s when it helps to remember the promises and faithfulness of God and that “God is not a man that He should lie” Numbers 23:19Numbers 23:19

        All those times in your life that God seemed distant and unconcerned are, in reality, an earthly perspective of a heavenly plan. If we look at things from the perspective of “ME” we will lose sight of all that God is accomplishing. On the other hand, we can take some comfort in the fact that God does see what is going on in our lives and that He is at work in it. I say we can take SOME comfort because it will not always be clear what God is trying to accomplish. This is where faith clashes with reality. While the trial or suffering may be bigger than anything we can handle, by faith we trust that it is not bigger than God can handle. As the Apostle Paul stated, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:72 Corinthians 5:7

        Is the Spirit of Christ living in us, teaching us daily about God’s faithfulness, His perfect character, His unfailing Word promises, His powerful love for mankind? How can we keep from trusting One who has so revealed Himself to us? Does it make sense to have faith in God? Is it possible to release all our fears and failures into God’s hands? Each time those questions are asked, the answer is always, “Yes.” There are times in our lives when the road ahead seems uncertain; when the answers we desperately seek are elusive. As long as we depend on our own understanding and reasoning, our faith will waiver.

     Let me ask you a simple question. Is there one specific thing- desire – that you want more than anything else in this world? Is your God able to bring this to pass? Have you prayed and fasted fervently for this specific thing? If the answers to all the above are yes, yes and yes then allow me one more question. Do you have the faith to believe that God will answer your prayers?

 

     No one can answer that but you. ‘According to your faith be it unto you.’

     Oh the simplicity of God! What could be more child-like in its simplicity than to be able to simply CHOOSE to believe God and live? The greatest revelation there is concerning faith is the fact that God accepts our CHOICE (our decision) to trust Him, and does so in spite of our contrary emotions and the doubts the enemy will bring us about it. Do you believe that? Then according to your faith be it unto you. We must get to God’s Word and believe it all. Jesus didn’t ask, “Did you feel it, He asked, “Do you believe it!”

 

      It is true that a bitter and long trial can cause our emotions to be far from good. But the test of our believing is not in our emotions, it is in our mind where we make decisions.

               ¿Tiene Dios remedio para ese tipo de mal? Claro que tiene, y la respuesta es Cristo. A medida que lo contemplemos diariamente, a medida que meditemos en los rasgos maravillosos de su carácter y convivamos con Él, permitiendo que su Espíritu habite en nosotros, controle voluntariamente nuestras decisiones y santifique nuestra voluntad pecaminosa, cada día, de manera casi imperceptible veremos su carácter reproducido en nuestra vida.

 

               

          Busquemos ser Cristianos de contruir y no destruir en el Reino de Dios. Comenzaremos a sentir como Él, a pensar y a actuar como Él actuaría ante las diferentes circunstancias de la vida.

 

 

           Calumnia:  Atribuir a alguien falsamente actos o intenciones deshonrosas con malicia de palabras. blasfeméo=hablar mal, injuriar, decir mal, difamar / heb. dibbá= calumniar, desacreditar,  mala fama, infamia.

 

           La murmuración puede ser sobre un hecho falso entonces recibe el nombre de calumnia. Pero también puede ser sobre un hecho verdadero, entonces se le llama chisme. No se cuestiona si lo que se comunica es cierto o no, sino que el hecho de hablarlo, de comentarlo con otros, se constituye en murmuración. Si hay algo que nos parece mal de parte de alguien, mejor es platicarlo directa y personalmente con esa persona y no comentarlo por otro lado.
