“You are a Jewel in his Crown”

Remember use the time wisely to gather facts about him, fact 8 and 9:

8. Check out the patterns of his life. Do you see repeated cycles of drama in his personal kingdom? Problems in making commitments?  Mood swings? Is a problem always someone else’s fault? Does he embrace responsibility or shirk it? Does he keep his promises? Is he a man of good reputation? Give yourself time and space to check out the man in your life. Time will always reveal whether or not he is made of the right stuff.

9. Complementary. Do your talents and gifts complement his? Do his gifts complement yours? Do you see the two of you as an effective team capable of bringing blessing to the lives of those around you? Can you coordinate your gifts in an attractive and effective way? This is why knowing your purpose is so important. Make sure your hearts beat for mutual causes. If the man you meet makes you feel that you need to completely reinvent yourself, something is wrong. This is where I ask you to consider the relationship in terms of cost. Is this relationship expensive spiritually, emotional or physically?

10. There are many Christian singles women who have remained single because they could never find anyone “good enough” for them; they are looking for a perfect man.  They’re not being realistic. there is no perfect man, only God is perfect.  They are not perfect just because they love God.  Learn to deal with their imperfections, because they are going to have to deal with your imperfections. Positively, when a Godly man and woman are matched up, it becomes a beautiful place where more Godly people will come from.  By God’s grace we will stand strong and raise a new generation of Godly men and women.

Ruth and Boaz  – “A Love Story”

We fully expect Boaz to notice her. And he did. “Whose young woman is this?” he asked his servant who was in charge of the reapers. “She is the young Moabite woman who returned with Naomi from the land of Moab,” he replied (Ruth 2:5, 6Ruth 2:5, 6

). Boaz lost no time in doing some nice things for Ruth. He invited her to stay in his fields and glean as much as she wanted, and to drink freely from the water pitchers provided for his own workers.

Ruth and Boaz were both ready. So we turn from their spiritual preparation to their sterling courtship. Farmers were not permitted to reap the corners of their grain fields nor gather the gleanings; they were to leave them for the poor, Naomi and Ruth were qualified. Ruth gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the portion of the field belonging to Boaz” (Ruth 2:3Ruth 2:3

She bowed low before Boaz in genuine gratitude and said, “Why have I found favor in your sight that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” (Ruth 2:10Ruth 2:10

It looks as though Boaz is getting more interested in this lovely woman as the day goes on. At mealtime he invited her to join him and his reapers for lunch, and he made sure she was served all that she wanted. When she finished eating and got up to return to work, Boaz said to his servants, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not insult her. And also you shall purposely pull out for her some grain from the bundles and leave it that she may glean, and do not rebuke her” (Ruth 2:15, 16Ruth 2:15, 16

). You can read all the story of Boaz and Rut it is a beautiful love story.

Boaz and Ruth did it God’s way. We are not surprised to see, finally, their successful marriage.

I would like to point something out about all three of these love stories: On the day that Abraham’s servant first saw Rebekah she was working, the Bible say in Genesis 24:15Genesis 24:15

: Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.  Rebekah was bring water for the house, working.

We also see that “While Jacob was still talking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep for she was a shepherdess. “Genesis 29:9Genesis 29:9

.  Rachel was pastor of sheep, working when Jacob saw her. Rachel was a shepherdess who tended her father’s sheep. She saw to their everyday needs, water, pasture and protection from animals of prey, working!

Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.” Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.” So she went out and began to glean in the fields behind the harvesters.  As it turned out, she found herself working in a field belonging to Boaz ,” Ruth 2:2-3Ruth 2:2-3

.  The first time Boaz saw Ruth she was also working, Ruth was gathering food for Naomi and herself, working!

We are not call to be sicker of the man that God has chosen for us. We are call to work for God, so sisters get busy working in God’s kingdom. Thrust that God know your need, He will provide for all your needs. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33Matthew 6:33
Spanish: Biblia Reina Valera - revisión de 1995 - RVR95
